Between the excessive heat, humidity, sweat, and sun exposure, it is no surprise that the summer months increase conditions for acne much more than any other season.

Switching your skin care products for the summer months, along with monthly facials, can help to combat this common skin condition. Professional facials allow for deep cleansing and detoxification of the pores. Home care products like gel-based cleansers and water-based moisturizers are also recommended. Look for makeup that is “non-comedogenic” (meaning it won’t clog your pores) or consider not wearing makeup at all.
